Due to the high quality, dust-free nature of DryNest's bales, the expanded volume of the bales is generally much higher than most other bales on the market. Most of our customers find that 1 1/2 to 2 bales per stall provide more than adequate bedding for a typical 12 x 12 stall. During the week wet spots can be easily removed as the bedding clumps like kitty litter, or they can be fluffed and air dried. Clean shavings can then be added to the stall as needed, typically our customers add about one more bale over a two week period before stripping the stalls. Other Products: DryNest also produces wood fiber for paddock, arena, and walkway surfacing. Wood species include almond (a hardwood which is non-absorbent and slow to break down), pine, and fir. This product can provide shock absorbing footing for arenas when used in correlation with sand. This configuration of wood fiber has proven to be the solution for muddy areas which receive high traffic, including paddocks and walkways, creating a barrier between the animal and the muddy ground surface. We place regular orders on a schedule so that customers receive their shipments exactly when they need them, even during the months of higher demand in the winter. Orders can be shipped on full semiload trailers (53') in quantities of 900-1000 bales/load (depending on bale size), and in most U.S. destinations we can also ship in smaller 28' trailers which carry 450-500 bales/load.
